Head to Folsom and join us at 5:30 pm and bring your friends, family, dogs and neighbors as we get close to our annual California Brewer's Festival (Brewfest) which will be held on Saturday, September 12th! Good beer, good times...great people! Join us at Knee Deep Brewing Co (Folsom Taproom & Grill), 793 East Bidwell St, Folsom.

So our social for this quarter will be at Knee Deep Brewing Company (Folsom Taphouse & Grill) at 793 E Bidwell St, Folsom, CA 95630, supporting one of the brewers that supports our Brewfest! A great opportunity for everyone to get together, enjoy some great beer, socialize and support our Brewfest! Don't forget...this is on a Thursday night and begins at 5:30 pm...which means we will be dark the next day, Friday, September 4th. Join us for fun and socializing! |

Do you want to be a coach for Eagles Golf this year? It's fun, it's easy...and it's a great way to support the athletes as they play golf. You don't need to know how to play golf to be a coach (coach/mentor/supporter)! The program will begin on Tuesday, April 28th and continue every Tuesday night (5:30 to 7 p.m.) through September 15 (except there will be no program sessions in July). You don't have to be there every Tuesday...just when you can make it! We'd love to see you out there!

It's time for the annual visit from our District Governor! This year's governor, Dave Veden, will join us on Friday, Sept. 11th to share his ideas, goals and give an update on the district. Please join us to give DG Dave a warm Point West Rotary welcome! We'll have the usual merriment and fun, along with birthdays, announcements and happy dollars! The bell rings promptly at 7:30 am to start the meeting, but come early for breakfast and to mingle with fellow Rotarians and friends! We'll be meeting at our new venue...the Conzelmann Community Center at 2201 Cottage Way. |

It's baaaack! Our annual "Putting for Polio" day is set for Friday, October 9th. Just a reminder that this event replaces our regular Friday morning meeting. So we will be at Haggin Oaks, at the putting area, to do some puttin' AND raise funds to help Rotary eradicate polio in the world!
Grab your putter, grab your checkbook and head out to Haggin Oaks for breakfast and putting - and fighting polio! And wear your fun and funky golf togs...there just may be an award for the wildest golf outfit! We'll be starting the event at 7:30 am...our regular start time for our Friday morning meeting. Just a different location with a different purpose. Thank you for your support - we'll see you out there!

Sue will share stories about RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening), the week long camp for high school students that literally changes lives...both of the students who attend and the counselors! A wonderful program that our club has supported for decades. We'll also have our regular announcements, birthday wishes, fun...and a great buffet breakfast!
