Partners in Leadership is one of our club's signature service projects and one of the most rewarding! This one-day conference gives us the opportunity to partner one-to-one with students from Encina High and work on leadership, ethics and values. Trained facilitators guide the attendees throughout the day - discussing issues and working through solutions. As mentors/leaders, our club members make valuable, and oftentimes long lasting, connections with the students. A light breakfast, lunch and snacks are included.
This year's conference will be held on Wednesday, October 30th at Sac State Student Union. Consider becoming a mentor and reap the rewards of helping to impact youth in our community!

Our annual Speech Contest is happening on Friday, January 24, 2025! Please join us to hear contestants from Encina High present their speeches using the theme "The Magic of Service". This theme builds upon the Rotary International theme of "The Magic of Rotary."
Each year the Rotary clubs in District 5180 hold a youth speech contest for high school students to encourage and support them in enhancing and improving their public presentation skills as they reflect on the speech contest theme and offer their thoughts and insights during their presentation. Each student's presentation is judged on delivery, originality and content. Students receive a monetary award if they are on of the top three highest scores.
