Sitting on the beach of an island with no place to go. Gilligan offered up a clam-bake without the clams, beer, or beach towels. Usual fresh fruit, eggs and bacon were served without fanfare. Retired Judge Abbott as speaker presented the challenges of being a judge and maintaining the Judiciary as a separate but equal branch of our government.
