It's that time of the year when Point West Rotarians come out in force to participate in the Salvation Army's "Red Kettle Bell Ringing". This year we will be ringing the bell at Bel Air Market (Arden & Eastern) from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday, December 15th. We will have a bell/kettle at each of their two doors and look forward to greeting customers and seeing friends/neighbors, all while we hope to raise more than the $1,000 we raised last year! Available are one-hour shifts (two people per kettle) - contact Bob Berger to sign up (916-397-2070) or robertwberger@sbcglobal.com.

PWR's annual Chicken Chuckin' service project is in need of "chuckers" for the Salvation Army Food and Toy Distribution! Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 20th at 7:30 am at Cal Expo - you'll get to help greet families, load food (chickens, potatoes and a box of non-perishables), or direct traffic through designated areas at Cal Expo. All families are vetted by the Salvation Army. This is your opportunity to support the community and spend time with other Rotarians by providing a little to joy to families in need during the holidays.
